All applications that are awaiting assessment and changes in circumstances will be assessed from 14th April 2025. We will contact you once the assessment has been completed. Please note that due to the new system implementation there will be delays in Homechoice applications and change of circumstances being assessed.



Overview

A 2 bed Max 3 person, Ground floor flat, with Gas Central heating, allocated parking space and being located close to local amenities. One months Rent in advance required prior to sign up regardless of any benefit entitlement. Regrettably no pets with the exception of assistance animals. i.e. Guide Dogs.

S106 Local Connection applies. First preference will be to those with a connection to Saltash. If no bidders are found with a Saltash connection then those with a connection to the adjoining parishes of Antony, Shevlock, Landrake with St Erney, Botus Fleming & Landulph will be considered and finally if no bidders meet the local connection a connection to Cornwall will be considered.

• The applicant lives in the Parish and has done so continuously for the last three years, and that residence was of their choice. (NB residence in a hospital or prison does not form a local connection by residence).

• The applicant has lived in the parish continuously for 5 years at some stage in the past.

• The applicant is employed in permanent employment in the Parish (permanent employment is regarded as 16 hours or more per week for a continuous period of three years).

• The applicant has close family (normally mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter) that have resided in the Parish for a minimum of the past five years and where there is independent evidence that the family member is in need of or can give support for the foreseeable future or on an ongoing basis.
